Jack Wimperis - Illuminous Fountain

Jack Wimperis makes things with Light - sculptures, environments, experiences... things.

He does these things on commission, in collaboration or on a whim. He is always interested in any chance to make things, as long as those things will bring light and joy to people and has worked all over the country bringing his incredible creations to light. You'll find him at Glastonbury, Shambala, Boom Town, Bristol Light Festival - to name but a few.

About the work

Jack works with standard builder's merchant materials to create his ethereal artworks. Here, plumbing equipment normally used to find leaks highlights the majestic Coalbrookdale fountain of Mesnes Park.
