Jack Wimperis - Lactolite Wall

Jack Wimperis make things with Light - sculptures, environments, experiences... things.

He does these things on commission, in collaboration or on a whim. He is always interested in any chance to make things, as long as those things will bring light and joy to people and has worked all over the country bringing his incredible creations to light. You'll find him at Glastonbury, Shambala, Boom Town, Bristol Light Festival - to name but a few.

About the work

Lactolite Wall is made from the everyday milk bottle, a standard playstation camera - and the magic of Jack Wimperis. The audience is invited to move, dance and play in front of the glowing wall - activating the lights and colours as they shake their stuff.
